Amaanah Refugee Services of Austin

We are on a mission to integrate resettled refugees into their new homes and communities.

In September 2016, Amaanah expanded to Austin to meet the needs of refugees in our capital city.

Our services currently include:

In-school tutoring to support teachers and newcomers in AISD classrooms After school programming to promote academic and social development Field trips to facilitate applied learning and acculturation Athletics to build self confidence and encourage healthy living Events to create community among volunteers and our refugee clients

Amaanah’s diverse team works with a variety of agencies and partners to provide high quality programming in Austin. The services are designed to drive real impact and support the long term integration of refugee families in our community.
