Who We Are

BRIDGES FOR HOPE INTERNATIONAL is a newly established organization operating out of Virginia, USA, with a twofold vision. We hope to ignite a worldwide movement of Muslims coming to Christ through Holistic Community Transformation programs and to mobilize western believers to compassionately engage their Muslim neighbors toward this goal.

Our Plan

As inspired Christ followers from around the world, we will work toward compassionate transformational development among Muslims, building bridges of understanding and respect that they might experience the fullness of life about which Jesus taught.These bridges include, but are not limited to: • Transforming communities so that all live in a context of health, peace, dignity, gainful employment and educational opportunity • Multiplying community transformation by empowering local Christ followers • Developing disaster strategies and delivering emergency relief. These bridges will tear down walls of misunderstanding, and generate a genuine interest in the life and message of Jesus.

As BFH considered avenues of ministry in India and Nepal, we felt called to focus in these

four areas of impact:

 HEALTH - A doctor when you need one. Medicines you can afford. Clean water to drink and enough food to keep you healthy. Millions of people are going without these basic things, every single day.

 EDUCATION - We believe every single child – that means girls as well as boys – has the right to a free,good-quality primary education.

 LIVELIHOOD - Protected livelihoods and agricultural growth programs aim to support the design

and implementation of effective policies and programs on agriculture and a range of other issues at the rural-urban interface, which benefit the poor in developing countries.

 EMERGENCIES - The fight against poverty is never more difficult than in times of crisis. BFH identifies places at risk of disaster, prepares resources, staff and volunteers in high-risk zones, and builds capacity and resilience
