Master of Public Policy (MPP):
A two-year masters program designed for both students early in their career or mid-career professionals. A 39-credit dual degree option is available with law (JD), business (MBA), environment (MEM) and medicine (MD) either at Duke or UNC. Master of International Development Policy (MIDP):
The Master of International Development Policy is a one- or two-year professional degree designed for mid-career professionals with at least five years of professional work experience. We do not accept applicants who have just completed their undergraduate studies. Additionally, if you are interested in the one-year degree program, you must have already completed at least one year of graduate level coursework, have a strong background in market-based economics and possess strong professional work experience. PhD in Public Policy:
The PhD in Public Policy is an applied, interdisciplinary social science degree. Graduates of the program are prepared for professional positions in domestic and international public agencies, research organizations and policy consulting firms, and for academic positions in public policy, public administration and other policy-oriented schools.
