Founded in 2007, Resolution has a proven model for identifying and inspiring young leaders through Social Venture Challenges ("SVCs") and awarding Resolution Fellowships:
- - We partner with organizations that serve broad communities of young leaders. These young leaders, university students, are an underserved population for social entrepreneurship opportunities that go beyond business plan competitions.
- - We invite young leaders to propose impactful social ventures in a multi-stage competition, the SVC, which includes both an online, written component on our proprietary platform, and a physical presentation to a live panel of judges.
- - We award Resolution Fellowships to those young leaders with the most promising social venture proposals and compelling personal leadership characteristics.
- - We support our Fellows through the intense, hands-on mentorship program we provide, including seed funding, assigned one-on-one mentors, access to subject matter experts and pro bono services, and membership in a connected community of their peers..
The impact of activating potential young leaders through social entrepreneurship is enormous; they become engaged early in making positive changes in the world and the character of their leadership is infused with social responsibility.
