    Hagar is a Swiss-based Christian development agency that has assisted vulnerable women and children in Cambodia since 1994, including survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, and other forms of gender based violence. Hagar operates wtih an integrated social work and business model to foster the social and economic empowerment of abused women and children. Hagar's model integrates recovery services in residential care facilities with comprehensive job readiness programming, job placements in social enterprises managed by Hagar, and long-term access to community-based social work support.

    Hagar currently serves vulnerable women and children in Cambodia, Afghanistan, and Vietnam. Support entities exist in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland, and the United States.
