    Caribbean Women’s Health Association (CWHA) is a community-based organization located in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. We were founded almost 40 years ago to help meet the needs of the surrounding Black and Immigrant community.

    Our mission is to provide high quality, comprehensive, culturally appropriate health education, immigration, and social support services to our diverse community. 

    Our services include:

    • Immigration Assistance: Adjustment of Status, Consular Processing, Naturalization, Deferred Action of Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Replacement of lost/stolen Green Cards, Extension of Visitors Visas, TPS Registration, Humanitarian Reinstatement, Special Requests for Reinstatement
    • Maternal and Child Health Education and Services: Breastfeeding Education & Support Groups, Birth and Postpartum Doula Support, Parenting Skills Workshops, Food Assistance for Pregnant & Birthing People, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders Workshops, Diaper and Wipes Bank
    • HIV/AIDS Prevention and Services: Rapid HIV Testing, Counseling, Condom Packages, PrEP & PEP referrals, Education Workshops (HIV 101, HIV prevention for faith-bath organizations, Intimate partner violence & HIV, PrEP & PEP 101, STDs & STIs, Trans & HIV, etc.), Support Group for HIV Positive Women
    • COVID-19 Education and Services: Testing, vaccination, educational workshops, informational sessions, and street outreach
