Altos del Mar Sculpture Park, Inc.
Welcome to Altos Del Mar Sculpture Park where “Art Meets Nature in Service to the Community”!
Altos Del Mar Sculpture Park Inc. ("ADMSP") is a Florida 501 (c) (3) Public Charity that will establish a sculpture park at the current Altos del Mar Park site east of Collins Avenue between 76th and 77th streets in Miami Beach pursuant to a management agreement between ADMSP and the City of Miami Beach, the owner of the park property.
Designed by ArquitectonicaGEO with South Florida limestone geology, parkland and urban life in mind, it will be the first sculpture park of its kind in the world as it will feature changing exhibitions of sculpture from established artists from the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries in natural “exhibition rooms” and feature community programming in the park lawn, that will be open year round and free to the public.
Several paths join the natural sculpture rooms, the lawn and the current beach walkway along the edge of the Atlantic Ocean providing a magnificent setting and backdrop.
The first major art project for the North Beach section of the City of Miami Beach, which will transform North Beach into an international art center elevating the education, culture and economy of North Beach, Miami Beach and the State of Florida.
The project is headed by Art Historian and Attorney-at-Law, Marlene Saile, notable members of the art community Robert Miller and Dr. David Schaff, leading expert of sculpture parks Gerrit Schulz-Bennewitz and the art collector Peter Saile.
