About Us

We are dedicated to preventing substance abuse and suicide because they touch so many families in our society.

Lines for Life is a regional non-profit promoting healthy kids and communities through drug and alcohol awareness, prevention programs, and 24 hour crisis lines for treatment referrals and suicide prevention. Lines for Life believes accessibility to substance abuse prevention, crisis-intervention and treatment referral services are key building blocks of healthy families and communities.

The Lines for Life staff works closely with business and political leaders, schools, parents, treatment professionals, law enforcement and the military. We train and support community anti-drug coalitions and we operate five, 24-hour crisis lines and received over 50,000 crisis and referral calls a year. We lead public awareness campaigns on underage drinking and we advise state and national lawmakers on legislation relating to youth access to alcohol and reducing illegal drug use.

We are dedicated to preventing substance abuse and suicide because they touch so many families in our society.
