The mission of Rowan Helping Ministries is to serve, through cooperative community action, our neighbors in Rowan County who are in crisis, by providing essential life needs and educating and empowering them to break the cycle of crisis.
Volunteer with Rowan Helping Ministries – Be the Difference for Our Neighbors in Need!
Every day, Rowan Helping Ministries opens its doors to neighbors facing hunger, homelessness, and crisis. Through our shelter, transitional and permanent supportive housing programs, three food pantries, Jeannie’s Kitchen, clothing center, Crisis Assistance Network, Food for Thought, and New Tomorrows program, we walk alongside families and individuals as they work toward stability and hope.
None of this is possible without our volunteers. Whether you can give a few hours a month, serve with your faith, business, or civic group, or join us for a special project, your time and compassion create lasting change.
Ways You Can Serve:
Whether you’re an individual looking to serve or part of a group wanting to make a difference, there’s a role for you at Rowan Helping Ministries!
