IFE-ILE

IFE-ILE is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the preservation, promotion of Afro-Cuban culture through dance.

We seek to develop cross-cultural understanding and to educate community members and visitors through our traditional and contemporary dances, lectures and workshops. We hold the IFE-ILE Afro-Cuban Dance Festival now in its 17th year. Participants include dance lovers from all walks of life from the US and abroad as well as local and national professional dancers adn guest artists. We help: - preserve and cultivate the heritage of Miami's Afro-Cubans; - build bonds and cultural understanding between different communities and visitors, organizations and residents; - enhance cultural awareness, pride and opportunities for residents of low-income neighborhoods.
