About Us
Founded in 1846 by Cornelia Connelly, the Society of the Holy Child Jesus is an international community of women religious. Holy Child Sisters serve as educators, spiritual directors, health care workers, social workers, writers, artists, lawyers, and in pastoral care and administration throughout the world. In the American Province, which includes U.S., Chile, and the Dominican Republic, the Society has founded and/or sponsors 15 schools, one college, and several social service organizations.
