    About Us

Pender Memorial Hospital offers residents of Pender County and surrounding communities a convenient and friendly place to receive care and treatment. Whether it's for the emergencies that happen in the middle of the night, a needed surgery, or a comforting place to stay while supported by skilled nurses and therapists, Pender Memorial Hospital is an exceptional choice for advanced medical services delivered by experienced and compassionate staff.

Affiliation with New Hanover Regional Medical Center

Pender Memorial Hospital is affiliated with New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Southeastern North Carolina's tertiary referral center. Physicians and staff at each hospital work closely together to coordinate services for their patients and reach the highest standards of care. Many physician specialists on the New Hanover Regional Medical Center physician staff see patients in Burgaw and Rocky Point so patients don't need to travel the extra distance to Wilmington. PMH patients also benefit from the experience provided by the same groups of radiologists, pathologists and emergency physicians who care for and diagnose patients at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
