    About Us

The Arlington Historical Society (Arlington, VA), founded in 1956, is an all-volunteer, 501(C)3 non-profit organization. We promote Arlington history through monthly public programs, community outreach, and social media. We have two museums: the Ball-Sellers House (the oldest building in the county) and the Arlington Historical Museum (at the Hume School, the oldest school house in Arlington County).
