Brevard Schools Foundation - Supply Zone for Teachers

About Us

Established in 1987, the Brevard Schools Foundation is a direct-support, 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization which matches community resources with the needs of schools. Support may be in the form of financial contributions or in-kind gifts of goods or services.

The Brevard Schools Foundation solicits funds for Brevard Public Schools through grants and/or private sources. These grants supplement dollars available through the school district, providing the means for classroom teachers to undertake special projects not supported through existing budgets and programs.

The Supply Zone for Teachers is one of the services offered by Brevard Schools Foundation. Teachers generally spend $400-$600 of their own money each year on student and classroom supplies in order to make sure that their students are equipped and ready to learn. The Supply Zone for Teachers is a store that collects donated school supplies from sponsoring companies, organizations, and churches, or accepts monetary donations to purchase supplies at a fraction of the retail prices. The supplies are then made available to the teachers at no cost. The Supply Zone for Teachers is centrally located in the Clearlake Education Center at 1225 Clearlake Road in Cocoa, Florida and is scheduled to be open for the start of 2014-2015 school year.
