About Us

The Art & Photography Foundation is a Charitable Trust. Its primary project is the Museum of Art & Photography (MAP).

MAP’s mission is to exhibit, interpret and preserve a growing collection of art and cultural artefacts motivated by a belief that museums should play a positive role in society.

This new, state-of-the-art building in the heart of Bangalore will include 5 galleries, auditorium, research library, conservation centre, education centre, cafe, shop and members’ lounge.

MAP will be displaying at least 8 art exhibitions a year alongside a curated programme of education and outreach activities.

Cutting-edge technology will be present in all areas of the museum to enhance the visitors’ experience.

MAP is set to the most accessible museum in the country for people with disabilities, working closely with an Accessibility Consultant (Diversity and Equal Opportunity Centre) and learning from more established museums in US and UK.
