Pawtuxet River Authority and Watershed Council

Our mission is to enhance water quality and wildlife habitats; create opportunities for public passive recreation; and promote the environmental, cultural and historic significance of the Pawtuxet River and its watershed.

Pawtuxet River Authority and Watershed Council has been protecting, conserving, and restoring the Pawtuxet River and its watershed for over 50 years! We are a non-profit organization serving Cranston, Coventry, Scituate, Warwick, and West Warwick where the mainstem, south, and north branches of the Pawtuxet River flows.
