The mission of the Therapeutic Equine Assistance Method at First Presbyterian Church of Nashville (TEAM-FPC) is to enhance the quality of life for disabled individuals by providing a therapeutic horseback riding program that improves: physical strength, emotional stability and cognitive processing through recreational activities with horses. This outreach service looks to instill core values of faith, friendship, tradition, service and respect.
TEAM-FPC is a therapeutic horseback riding program for adults (18+) with disabilities. We are currently seeking volunteers for horse leading and side walking during sessions. No horse experience is necessary as volunteers will be trained for these positions.
