    To provide a caring, advocating, safe, and educationally based environment for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault; and to protect victims from further abuse or exploitation.

    About Us

    Established in 1984, The Refuge Utah (formally The Center for Women and Children in Crisis) provides emergency shelter, housing assistance, advocacy, and therapy to victims of sexual assault and domestic violence. We serve nearly 1,200 individuals each year through our services and 24/7 hotlines. Our services are all free of charge and open to the public
