About Us

SMATF is a non-profit 501(c)(3) AIDS service organization established in 1988 and is located in Biloxi on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Our mission is to educate the public about the prevention and transmission of HIV/AIDS while providing services to those affected.

Our service areas include Harrison, Jackson, Hancock, George, Stone and Pearl River counties; however some of our programs are statewide. We have many programs that are provided through our agency and we work closely with the Health Departments in each county.

We provide transitional housing for 11 individuals at our facility, Augusta House, along with scatter site permanent housing on a space-available basis. Additionally, we offer free HIV testing, Support Groups, a Food Pantry, and an HIV education program for schools and community organizations.  Find out more at www.smatf.com
