    The Dakota Valley Symphony and Chorus is a community-based ensemble of skilled musicians that shares live, beautiful music experiences with audiences of all ages.

    About Us

    A non-profit, local, volunteer arts organization founded in 1986, DVSC is the only orchestra specifically serving the South Metro area community (500,000+ people)

    • Performs a wide range of the best music, from classical to popular, by diverse composers
    • Performs new works by area composers
    • Comprised of more than 100 volunteer musicians and singers of all ages residing in Dakota County and surrounding metro counties
    • Performs 4-5 season concerts at the Burnsville Ames Center and 3-4 free Summer Pops outdoor concerts in various communities
    • Collaborates with other musicians and artists to bring a variety of high-quality music to the South Metro area
    • Provides community outreach programs for senior centers, free children’s concerts, Summer Pops concerts
