FEED OUR STUDENTS
Mission
Our mission is to help end childhood hunger and improve student learning through our Backpack Feeding Program. This program provides 6 meals to students over the weekend who suffer from food insecurity and it gives them the proper nutrition they need in order to concentrate on their schoolwork and not being hungry.
About Us
Feed Our Students Backpack Feeding Program offers volunteers the opportunity to take a hands-on approach to help to end childhood hunger. We can accommodate groups of any size ranging from 10-25 volunteers and the events themselves are easy, efficient, and prove to be a great team-building exercise for companies. In as little as 1-2 hours, volunteers can assemble anywhere between 500-1000 bags of food.
Another beneficial feature about our organization is that we bring awareness about the critical need to help to ensure students who suffer from food insecurity are provided for through our program.
