About Us

Steven D. Patzer (Democrat) is an advocate for sustainable economic development, transportation, public safety, and diversity in education. He was raised by a single mother, who works as a school secretary in Gravesend. She encouraged his early community service work as a Tiger Scout, Cub Scout, and Boy Scout and inspired his advocacy for educators and students.

With his love of education, he served on the Auxiliary Board of Directors and the Association of Kingsborough Community College. At the Simon Wiesenthal Center, he advocated for legislation against hate crimes and presented anti-bullying presentations in NYC schools. He also implemented safe and secure meetup locations for the sale and trade of private goods in high-crime areas of Southern Brooklyn such as the 73rd, 69th, and 60th police precinct. He is currently working on job fairs in high unemployment areas, environmental sustainability projects, and community policing initiatives. Steven has and knows, we can create impact, now.
