    • Mission

    In 2014, the Love Foundation started a soup kitchen to serve Chicago's far west-side community of Humboldt Park at my restaurant, Turkey Chop Gourmet Grill. This area and its residents experience daily violence, poverty, depression, and homelessness. However, each Monday we step up to make a difference in their lives, if only for just one hour, while they enjoy a nourishing meal. They also receive an encouraging smile from our team, a kind word, and an opportunity to feel like someone actually cares about them.
