Launched in January 2015, Steel City Squash is based at the University of Pittsburgh currently serving middle school students. Each year Steel City Squash will welcome a new class of up to 15 students and by 2020, the organization will enroll over 100 elementary, middle and high school students.

Our intensive, year-round programming will last up to 10 years for each participant, with the goal that our students will: (1) graduate from high school, (2) enroll and succeed in college, (3) become competitive squash players, and (4) develop professional skills.
