Boys & Girls Club of Oakland

The purpose of Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland is to develop our community's youth into positive contributors to society.

To accomplish our purpose, we provide programs, activities and services that are tailored to the special needs of today's youth and supplementary to the endeavors of families, our schools, and other community-based organizations.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Oakland is a positive place for kids and teens. Our goal is to be the premiere youth development organization committed to preserving and enhancing the moral, mental, social, and physical well-being of children and youth in the greater Oakland Community.

Our goals include supplementing the work of families and schools by providing our Club's student members with the positive and lasting skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed for effective personal and interpersonal growth and development.

The end result of our work will be effective, goal oriented young adults taking their places as responsible members of society.
