The Food Bank of York Region

Serving community food pantries, social service agencies and housing cooperatives in all of York Region (Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, King, Aurora, Whitchurch/Stouffville, Newmarket, East Gwillimbury and Georgina.) Not open to the public.

The Food Bank of York Region is the only food network serving the nine municipalities that make up the entity of York Region. We're able to source and store more food donations than the average food bank as we are the only refrigerated warehouse.

This allows us to distribute larger quantities of healthy fresh foods among all of the food pantries, social service agencies, and housing cooperatives so that they can feed more families in their local communities.

Without us, our agencies wouldnt have access or be able to provide as much fresh and frozen foods to people in need within their communities.
