VOCATIO CAREER-PREP HIGH SCHOOL

Vocatio Career Prep High School has served underprivileged families and youth in the Hunting Park neighborhood of North Philadelphia since 2014, with the school formally opening its doors in 2018. Our mission is to develop lifelong learners who exemplify strong leadership, solid moral character, and self-discipline. This is accomplished by providing a Christ-centered, academic, and vocational education that will equip young men and women to pursue post-secondary education or a successful career path upon graduation. Vocatio teaches students to apply their knowledge to real-world problems, addressing relevant neighborhood needs. Our school serves as a support system in the Hunting Park community by offering youth and families experiential and vocational learning opportunities, academic support, and social/emotional support.

Vocatio Career Prep High School uses its mission and facilities to promote responsible neighborhood development, inspiring youth to be proud of their neighborhood, and helping them to realize their capacity to improve it.
