    Our mission at the Sidi Moumen Cultural Center is to encourage at risk children and vulnerable youth to stay in school and avoid delinquency, drug addiction and extremism. Through various activities, we provide opportunities for these

    children to be good citizens and future leaders.

    History

    The Sidi Moumen Cultural Center was created in October 2007.

    Objectives

    - Provide a safe, educational, cultural and

    sportive space for youth

    - Facilitate contact with mentors and role

    models

    - Promote understanding, tolerance and mutual

    respect

    Center Statistics

    300 youth

    Library with over 4,400 books

    5 classrooms with 200 student total capacity

    5 televisions

    30 desktop computers

    Large outdoor fenced-in garden

    Musical equipment (ouds, guitars, violins,

    drums, keyboards)

    35 hockey sticks

    24 lacrosse sticks

    20 footballs

    150 basketballs

    4 basketball
