Washington Heights Choir School

The Washington Heights Choir School (WHCS) is a ministry of Holyrood Church with the following mission: "The Washington Heights Choir School enriches children’s lives through the joy of music. We build self-confidence and community in elementary-age students in Washington Heights through ensemble singing, instrumental instruction, and musical exploration in a tuition-free, safe, kind, fun, and affirming after-school environment."

WHCS currently offers two programs, a 5 day a week after-school program from late September through early June, and a 1-week summer program each August. Both programs focus on ensemble singing and also include individual vocal and instrumental instruction.
