FRIENDS OF THE HASLET PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Friends promote informed interest in the Haslet Public Library (“Library”) including, but not limited to promoting civic engagement through the community Library; to encourage Friends members to become active in state-wide and national library support groups; to raising funds to purchase books, magazines, newspapers, computers, printers and other necessary items required to create and maintain a quality community-oriented Library; to receive and encourage gifts, endowments and bequests for the promotion of the objectives of the Library; to aid the Library in initially securing adequate furniture and facilities and then ongoing in enhancing the facilities; to facilitate and fund cultural and educational presentations at the Library; to help secure and maintain a historical archives section in the Library for our community; and to cooperate with the Library in developing and maintaining Library services.
