About Us

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

San Diego's first Girl Scout troop was founded in Coronado in 1917. Today, nearly 40,000 girls and adults are proud to be part of Girl Scouts San Diego!

We offer girl activities and events, as well as volunteer training, at our locations in Balboa Park, Escondido and Carlsbad. In addition, we hold camp programs at Winacka and Whispering Oaks, our mountain properties in Julian.
