Citizens for Steve Bergquist

Steve Bergquist is the 11th District Washington State Representative. His family has lived in this community for four generations. He is a public school teacher, small business owner, union member, and his wife is a pediatric physician. Rep. Bergquist is one of two active teachers in the Washington State Legislature and is a voice supporting our students and families. In Olympia, he supports our community by advocating for:

• Job creation: Working with small businesses to create jobs and grow our economy

• Education: Fully funding our K-12 education system and fighting to keep tuition increases under control

• Healthcare: Helping more people receive and afford health insurance

• Unions: Steve is a union member (Renton Education Association) and is a strong supporter of collective bargaining rights.
