Kamalbe Spanish School and Volunteer Center

Kamalbe has a philosophy of providing practical education, which has become in recent years one of the paradigms that characterize that design of educational models. It attempts to answer, in an efficient and responsive way, the needs of our world which are as much complex as evolving.

Kamalbe is looking to support the education of people in the community of Xecanchavox, Guatemala, in aspects where state-sponsored education does not cover the needs of our population. The Community Learning Center in our community is fundamental to the growth of our community. The Center envisions creating educational programs based on the needs for the community, which would be developed over the following principles:

1. Development of the citizen that is committed with his community, environment, and surroundings.
2. Apply the acquired knowledge to improve the quality and performance of their work.

The Community Center will basically become the place where families can find orientation through the courses that will be offered.

CCAK will become the physical space found in the rural area, where kids, parents, community authorities will have access to information technology, educational programs, and will interact in a determined course to obtain knowledge, skills, and aptitudes necessary in today's world.

The world is constantly transforming, and with it so are we. The educational models need to be modernized to our needs to encourage equal opportunities for all. And this is a product of the constant advancements of technology and the growing demand for information that characterizes our age, requiring transcendental changes, not only to educational systems, but also to the livelihood of those who live in this era.Without a doubt the Community Center will become a beloved center of our town, it will have access to information and knowledge, providing access to the internet, reading materials, and workshops.
