    About Us

    Green Community Connections is a community-based organization founded in the Oak Park and River Forest area that works collaboratively to build a resilient, environmentally sustainable community locally, and to be an environmental leader in the greater Chicago metropolitan area.

    Programs that enact Green Community Connections' mission are Green Living and Learning Tours, sustainability forms and ProAction Cafes, and its flagship program -- One Earth Film Festival, the Midwest's premier environmental film festival. It is high-tech and high-touch, producing live community sustainability events, but also a digital newsletter and website content.
