  • About Us

    Founded in 1998, the Mediation Center is a store-front walk-in, facilitation and training center, with a mission to foster leadership and peaceful conflict resolution in Crown Heights and elsewhere.

    We currently run Save Our Streets Crown Heights, a community-based anti-gun violence program. S.O.S. uses street outreach, public education, and clergy and resident mobilization to comat gnu violence.

    We also run YO S.O.S. (Youth Organizing to Save Our Streets), an afterschool education adn activism program for high school students ages 14-17.
