Reading Between the Lines

  • About Us

Reading Between the Lines® is a reading and discussion program designed to enhance the

thinking, listening and communication skills of formerly incarcerated and soon-to-be-released

women and men. Trained volunteer facilitators meet weekly to analyze poems, stories,

speeches and other short texts. The goal is to build verbal expression and critical thinking tools

essential to successful re-entry—with work, family and community.
