BELOIT MEALS-ON-WHEELS INC

Since 1971, Beloit Meals On Wheels has provided daily nutritious meals and information to promote dignity and independence for homebound elderly, ill and disabled. We are the only provider in the area that delivers meals 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including holidays. We are able to continue the mission of our organization thanks to our dedicated volunteers, over 600 strong, who deliver once a month, once a week or more often - and they are the heart and soul of our organization. Our volunteers donate their time, gas and vehicles, this program continues its modest management expenses with only 1 full-time employee and three part-time employees. But we deliver more than a meal - our volunteers often serve as the only human contact many of our clients receive each day - bringing a friendly greeting, as well as providing a safety check along with nutritious meals.
