Our Mission: The Middlebury Institute of International Studies educate professionals to advance understanding, promote peace, and drive change in pursuit of a more just world.

The Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey is a small, private graduate school that provides international and professional education in areas of critical importance in a rapidly changing world. In addition to preparedness for global careers, our graduates attain second language fluency, intercultural awareness, diplomacy skills, and a global mindset.
