    The Center for Prevention Research and Resource Development D/B/A the Center for Applied Prevention (CAP) is a not-for-profit and tax-exempt, 501 (C) (3), organization incorporated in 1995. CAP’S mission is to Provide up-to-date, research-based information, resource assistance and support services to parents, health, education and law-enforcement professionals, and other stake holders so they may effectively reduce and prevent substance abuse and related problem behaviors in their families and communities.
