Southwest Food Coalition

A team of food champions dedicated to expanding access to nutritious food and transforming food systems in the Southwest Denver Metro.

We are a group that was formed during the pandemic to address the massive need for food in our community. At the time, community agencies were not working together and often were in competition. We now have over 50 members who are residents, pantries, schools and churches. We collaborate on sourcing and distributing food to our pantries, grant applications and long term systems changes to make sure all residents in our community have access to fresh culturally relevant food.
