Journal of Health Care for the Poor and Underserved

  • About Us

The Journal of Health Care for the Poor and Underserved (JHCPU) is published by Johns Hopkins University Press for Meharry Medical College. It is the premier journal covering underserved populations in North and Central America, the Caribbean, and sub-Saharan Africa. We also cover internally dispossessed Indigenous populations worldwide. JHCPU disseminates work on inequities in health to a worldwide audience more consistently and effectively than other publications.
