The California Association of Private Special Education Schools’ (CAPSES) primary mission is to promote the delivery of quality special education and services in both the nonpublic and public sectors of education.

CAPSES members schools (NPS) and agencies (NPA) provide essential special education services to public school students across California.

CAPSES focuses on the need for nonpublic schools and agencies to be heard, as well as the challenge of assisting parents in their search for appropriate special education alternatives. For over 50 years, CAPSES has grown into a highly respected statewide, 501 (C)(3) public benefit nonprofit organization of NPS and NPA members with high ethical standards to improve the quality of life for special education students.

CAPSES is looking for a dynamic leader as our full time Association Manager based in our downtown Sacramento office (free parking in covered parking lot provided). Our new Association Manager should be capable of working independently as well as coordinating state-wide, regional, and board members’ group efforts.
