    Norte builds stronger, better connected, and more walk/bike-friendly communities by empowering the young and young at heart.

    About Us

    We keep people moving and connected to the community. We do this mainly through our youth bike programs like Mountain Bike Club, Adventure Bike Club, and Balance Bike Club Children who ride with Norte learn confidence and independence in these programs and develop lifelong skills and habits. Our end goal is happy, healthy, strong children and communities. Norte's Kids' Bike Library loans out over 600 bikes annually and serves families in six counties.

    Norte also advocates for more and better infrastructure for walking and rolling. As a result, we've helped increase sidewalks, improve crosswalks, and promote more trails and bike lanes.
