Urbandale United

Urbandale United aims to enhance the quality of life in the Urbandale through keeping residents informed of matters that impact the neighborhood, and to foster a sense of community.

While our main focus is Urbandale, community has no borders. We invite other neighborhoods in Southeast Dallas to participate in our events and meetings. We feel that we are stronger united!

We have quarterly community meetings where we have many educational topics including: city code compliance, crime reporting, parks and recreation speakers, economic development, other nonprofits that offer services to our area, and more! We are always looking for other nonprofits to speak, so reach out to us if you'd like to be a guest, or come to a regularly scheduled meeting to introduce yourself.

Civic engagement is one major goal of our organization, but having social events and beautification projects is another! We regularly clean Urbandale Park through our partnership with Dallas Parks Dept.! We also host arts and culture programming like painting, performance artist led dance workshops , and crafts in partnership with the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture! We host an annual Easter Egg Hunt and have had other holiday events. We always need volunteers for various projects and activities, so please reach out!
