    The Kampong is part of The National Tropical Botanical Garden located in Hawaii whose mission is to enrich life through discovery, scientific research, conservation and education by perpetuating the survival of plants, ecosystems and cultural knowledge of tropical regions.

    About Us

    The Kampng is an 11-acre botanic garden that was the former home of renowned plant explorer David Fairchild and his wife Marian, daughter of Alexander Graham Bell.

    The Kampong has a unique collection of rare and exotic plants: hundreds of varieties of tropical fruits, including mango, avocado, citrus, jackfruit, guava, lychee and sapote; dazzling floweiring trees; healing herbs and spices; numerous species of palms and cycads, heliconias, water lilies and bamboo.
