Ubuntu Global Village Foundation

  • About Us

Ubuntu Global Village Foundation cultivates cross-continental and cross-cultural relationship building through cultivating global community partnerships, global community service, arts & cultural events. Ubuntu means "The generosity" "the essence of humanity" and "people are people THROUGH others."

    We are One Global Family.

Ubuntu GV promotes Global/Local Citizenship and Community engagement. Together with local and global partners, we host youth food and empowerment outreach programs for children living on the streets of Durban, South Africa and Kigali, Rwanda. We engage Chicagoans, local and global citizens and other global communities in poetry gatherings, cultural celebrations and educational events.
