Hospitality Employees Advancement & Training, Inc.

Hospitality Employees Advancement & Training Inc. is a hospitality training program in partnership with the hospitality labor union, UNITE HERE Local 355, and the Overtown Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) that provides education and pre-employability services; occupational skills training; and job search and placement services for incumbent workers and those seeking to enter the workforce. Our vision is to reduce poverty, unemployment, and assist with job mobility to workers and community members in South Florida. Our mission is to provide quality training that empowers workers, strengthens their skills, increases wages, and improves work conditions and standards. In addition, we seek to engage in additional workforce and civil engagement efforts to enhance and promote the livelihood of workers.
