MiniNature Reserve

  • Mission

We exist to restore nature in urban environments through landscape projects that engage, educate, and empower the local community.

    About Us

MiniNature Reserve is based in the fastest-warming county in the United States, Ventura, California which is wholly devoid of green spaces. A majority of its residents are low-income and do not have the privilege of excess time to engage in climate action. In direct response to these conditions, MiniNature Reserve was registered as a Gen Z BIPOC-led grassroots NPO that restores Indigenous plants in urban environments.

What started as a backyard nursery has expanded to a dynamic network of a youth-led Advisory Board, 700+ volunteers, 2,000+ native plants restored across 30,000 square feet of land, and 5,500+ volunteer hours.
