About Us
The Durham Economic Resource Center has recently opened for business as a part of the End Poverty Durham initiative. DERC’s mission is to address adult poverty in organizational memberships to non-profit agencies and faith based organizations; to provide on-the-job training to unemployed and those who are hard to employ; and to serve as an organizer and change agent to build and develop strategic partnerships to help address the root causes of poverty.
