    At the Milwaukee Clipper, We are dedicated to preserving the SS Milwaukee Clipper for future generations. At the S. S. Milwaukee Clipper, a former passenger steamer, and Lake Michigan car ferry. We are the proud caretakers of this great ship, which is listed as a National Historic Landmark. With this honor comes the responsibility to restore and maintain this ship, the oldest remaining passenger ship on the Great Lakes. Please explore our website and plan your visit soon!     The S.S. Milwaukee Clipper Preservation Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit totally dependent on donations and funds raised through events, on-board ship tours, and proceeds from the ship store. There are no paid positions, just dedicated volunteers committed to preserving the ship. The organization is governed by a board.
